Certificate: Food and Beverage Service

This course aims to provide you with the knowledge required to perform effectively in the hospitality industry. This qualification was developed in partnership with industry members. Food and Beverage Service is an integral part of the hospitality industry. You will gain basic knowledge in Communication, Mathematical Literacy, Introduction to Hotels, Guest Relations, Food and Beverage Studies I, Hygiene, and Introduction to PCs Using Windows XP.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive your Certificate: Food and Beverage Service.

• The ability to express yourself clearly and correctly, both orally and in writing, in English (NQF Level 4); and
• The ability to apply numerical skills, including basic arithmetic (add, subtract, divide, multiply) (NQF Level 3); and
• A Std. 7 (Grade 9) Certificate; and/or
• one years working experience in a business environment.
